Can You See Who Liked Your Spotify Playlist?

If you create a public Spotify playlist, any other Spotify subscriber can like or follow it. They don’t even have to follow you in order to like your playlist. You may be wondering who liked your Spotify playlist, whether it has one or a thousand likes. While most social media and music apps allow you to see who liked your content, is this possible with Spotify? Unfortunately, it isn’t, but you can look at other facts and figures to see how many people liked your playlist.

See who liked your Spotify playlist

If you’ve created some excellent playlists and discovered that they’d received a large number of likes, you may be wondering who liked them. The good news is that you can still see the number of likes for any public Spotify playlist, no matter if it’s yours or someone else’s. However, you cannot see who liked your Spotify playlist, even if it is yours. This feature was available until 2013.

Since 2013, you can only see how many people have liked your Spotify playlist. Although many users expressed disappointment about not being allowed to see who liked their playlists, there is no indication that Spotify will reinstate this feature. In 2019, a Spotify spokesperson stated, “We’re keeping this idea as ‘Not Right Now,’ as this isn’t something we have any immediate plans to implement.”

How to see Spotify playlists like counts on iPhone

Follow the below instruction to find out how many people on Spotify have interacted with your playlists and how many likes you have so far.

  1. On your iPhone, launch “Spotify.”
  2. In the bottom-right corner of the menu, select “Your Library.”
  3. At the top of the screen, click the “Playlists” tab.
  4. Press on the playlist in question to see how many people liked it.

The playlist’s like count is displayed beneath the title on the left side of the smartphone screen. Unfortunately, you can’t use that number to determine which users liked the playlist. For example, tapping on your like-count would result in nothing.

While there is no way to view who liked your Spotify playlist, some Spotify users check their followers to see if anyone new has been added to the list. This, however, does not necessarily imply that they liked your playlist. Even if you have a new follower, your playlist might have been liked by somebody who followed you already or someone who doesn’t follow you at all. This method is especially ineffective if your Spotify account has a large number of followers. There is simply no way to tell who liked your Spotify playlists.

How to see Spotify playlists like counts on Android

The very same rules apply to the Spotify app on Android and iOS devices. You can only view how many people have liked your Spotify playlist. In any case, if you want to know how many people liked your Spotify playlist, follow the steps below.

  1. On your Android device, open “Spotify.”
  2. On the bottom menu, press the “Your Library” button.
  3.  At the top of the top-of-the-screen, click on the “Playlists” tab.
  4. Choose the playlist for which you want to see the like count.

The number of likes will appear in the middle-left corner of the screen, right beneath your profile picture and username. If you tap the like count, nothing will happen; just like in the iPhone app. If your Spotify playlist has no likes, you’ll only see your username and profile photo under the playlist’s title.

Note: There are numerous third-party apps that claim to be able to show you who liked your Spotify playlists. They are, however, all fake and not recommended. Currently, there are no reliable workarounds for this issue.

  1. Run the “Spotify desktop app” on your windows computer.
  2. Sign in to Spotify and navigate to the “Playlists” section on the left sidebar.
  3. Locate the playlist you want to examine and click on it.

The Likes section will be on the app’s far right side, above the Downloaded button.

Conclusion

Although you cannot see who liked your Spotify playlists on mobile, desktop, or web apps, you can see how many likes each playlist has. Spotify does not currently allow you to see who follows your Playlists; this feature may be added in the future. For the time being, Spotify users will have to be content with seeing their followers and playlist-like counts.
